The Socio-psychology minor combines the disciplines of Sociology and Psychology.
Sociology is the study of social life, social change, social causes and the consequences of human behavior in various cultural contexts. Sociologists study the increasing complexities of connections among cultures and societies today.
Psychology is the study of how and why people behave as they do. It's the scientific study of behavior and mental processes with particular attention to human development, personality, social interactions, psychopathology and research methodology.
