  • Effectively communicate the mathematical reasoning behind such solutions to business executives
  • Pursue a profession requiring sophisticated understanding of economics and mathematics.

Faculty Highlight:

Professor Krueger is an associate professor and chair of the Departments of Mathematics and Computing. She is an applied mathematician with a variety of business experience working for the Air Force and the National Park Service. Dr. Krueger has a B.S. in Mathematics with a Business Option from Xavier University, and earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Virginia Tech.

 

Alumni Profile:

Christina, a recent graduate, earned a Master of Science in Operations Research from North Carolina State University and is currently working in the Department of Aeromedical Research Data Analytics at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
