We offer these professional advancement options, for students while obtaining a master of arts in education:
- Reading Science - For those who want to teach reading using highly effective, research-based methods.
- Ohio Reading Endorsement Program - For those who want to teach reading across grade bands. Classes begin each January, May and August. Recommended application dates; the 15th of December, April, or July.
- Ohio Pre Kindergarten Special Needs Endorsement Program - For teachers who hold an early childhood or an intervention specialist license and want to expand their teaching to include children ages three-five with special needs. Classes begin each May. Recommended application date by April 15th.
- NEW Ohio Teacher Leader Endorsement – For those who already have a teaching license and a completed/in progress master's degree who would like to pursue leadership roles in their school settings. Classes begin each May. Recommended application date by April 15th.
- NEW Ohio Gifted Intervention Specialist (K-12) Endorsement - For those who have a teaching license and are looking to serve gifted and talented students in their school settings. Classes begin each May. Recommended application date by April 15th.
