From Classroom to Career

Professional Development is designed to prepare students for the workforce. Students begin with self-assessment and skills analysis then move on to resume development, professional correspondence, interviewing techniques, professional practices, and co-op expectations and opportunities.

Résumé Critiques & Mock Interviews

Students and alumni submit their résumés to a Career and Experiential Education Center staff member.  You may also receive feedback before an upcoming job interview by completing a mock interview with a career coordinator.

Job Search Assistance

The CEEC offers assistance to students and alumni by facilitating connections with employers and teaching individuals how to conduct effective searches.

The University also offers several career fairs throughout the year to help students connect with potential employers.

Graduate School Advising

If you see graduate school as a part of your future, it is important to plan ahead.  Together with faculty, the Career Center will support you.

Career and Major Exploration

While attending the Mount, students learn skills in career decision making, personal reflection, assessment, and life planning while fostering the integration of academic and career goal development in a global context.

The Career & Experiential Education Center offers a full range of services to help students and alumni explore and consider the wide range of personal and professional choices open to them.

Based on the needs of the advisee, the coordinator designs a unique program that includes assessments, informational interviewing, further coursework or reflection.
