This year, the Mount partnered with healthcare systems in the Greater Cincinnati area to recognize the unsung nursing heroes who provided exceptional compassionate patient care during this pandemic. The Mount converted our 2020 Leadership in Nursing Awards Program (LNAP) to a virtual format to recognize those healthcare nurse heroes. With God’s grace, we will resume the LNAP celebration in person in October, 2021 to celebrate the significant achievements of nurses in our communities.
Mount St. Joseph University, sponsored by the Sisters of Charity, has provided quality nursing education for nearly 100 years. The Mount’s rich heritage in educating and fostering the development of nursing leaders gives evidence of its continuing commitment to prepare women and men for leadership roles in nursing.
Our 2020 LNAP event will be a virtual celebration to honor nursing heroes from each of the Health Care Systems in the Tri-State.
