The University Theatre has a long and rich history as the home of performances, lectures and commencements at Mount St. Joseph University. Student productions, plays, musicals, dramas as well as bands and recitals have all graced the stage.
Adjacent to the Theatre, the Recital Hall is available for smaller meetings, lectures and presentations as well as recitals.

| Theatre Rehearsal | $600 each rehearsal |
| Damage Deposit Fee | $300 (refundable or applied to theatre rental payment if no damages incurred) |
| Dressing Rooms | $65 each/ per day: four dressing rooms available |
| 2 Ushers Theatre Ushers | 4 hr. minimum per usher. Contact Campus Facilities for costs. |
| Theatre Technicians | normally 3-4 techs per performance. Contact Campus Facilities for costs. |
| Campus Police Officer(s) | 4 hour minimum per officer. Contact Campus Facilities for costs. One officer is required for 500 theatre guests or less; two officers are required for greater than 500 theatre guests. |
| Custodial Fee (if applicable) | 4 hour minimum per person. Contact Campus Facilities for costs. |
